Kitchen Remodel

It was the most important area to me to get right. I love cooking, entertaining, and making it a place to hang out. The kitchen needed some help, just like the rest of the house. We started with new cabinets and granite. I really, really wanted a hood over the range, but Todd needed some convincing since there wasn’t a ton of storage. I won that argument, and found a new home for items I don’t use on a daily basis. I never missed the lack of storage and I think the hood just makes the kitchen have that extra style! Picking a backsplash was a tought choice, but as soon as I saw this marble moroccan-style marble beauty, I had to have it. We offset it with a light gray grout to play off the granite. Another huge decision were the pendants, even though I knew exactly what I wanted they were hard to find. But one of my favorite places to waste house upon hours, Wayfair, had the perfect set- and hello, free shipping!
